Wind of Spring

Between moving to a new place and getting frustrated for not getting the internet access, I’m still trying to get used to a new phase of life. Lately, I’m getting used to cooking only with a rice cooker, which is surprisingly good for healthy eating (because you can’t easily use a large amount of oil). But enough of the boring household chitchat here’s a recap of things that made me gasped lately.

Swedish designer Jonas Lindström photographed the fabrics from Kettal and made a wonderful Material Mood board. Using a neutral color scheme, the texture shown from the fabric created layers of impact for those who see it. It’s a unique approach to create a mood board and I certainly like it.

I admired the brand Kitty Bunny Pony from a long time ago and really regret that I didn’t get a chance to visit the store while in South Korea. I really love the new collection of KBP which features the collaboration with Belgium artist, Sara Plantefève-Castryck. The combination of bright basic colors of red, yellow, and blue create a playful pattern and such a treat to my eyes.

Have you seen the latest collection of Rifle Paper Co. and Keds? Their spring release is so on point. What makes them even lovely is the fact that they also released the collection for kids and toddler. Bless my heart for that :3 My favorite shoe this time is this one.

Another collaboration that melts my heart (and maybe my wallet). I truly love everything kitc makes, because the jokes are so in sync with mine. Their latest collaboration with woodka is a cute bento box! Called the Paket Bento Asek, the package includes the signature products from kitc and woodka, from the wood watch & strap to kerupuk udang, from the T-shirt to personal notes from Bundo Ozawa. Such a delight!

The year has been running pretty fast for me and sometimes, I don’t think I’m ready to catch up. Sometimes, all I want to do is taking a step back and do nothing. But here we are, still younger than the rest of us, may as well running as fast as we can. It is April already and I hope you have everything ready for the rest of 2018. See you around, wind chasers :3
